Like it has been said, lot's of ways to skin a cat, this is what I do. 10 Gram re-usable, the cans are sealed so it's not like there is a constant source of moisture.

I like those too. Already packed up for you, easy to inspect and recharge (BTW, it turns back orange, from blue, unless you get the kind that go the other way. I typed it wrong above)... It's kind of a Cadillac form factor

I know this thread is a few weeks old but I just wanted to say thanks. I just learned something. I use the color changing packs but I'd never heard of the vci bags. Very cool. I'm going to start raising a flag like this every time I learn something completely new here.

Rice. Cheap white rice into me wife's old pantyhoses. It has worked as well as desicant paks or cat litter I use. VCI bags are great, but sizing for bulk ammo storage I've never found. Past this I can't find them in lots of like 100 or less and they get damned expensive in larger quantities which are the only ones I can find now. 44MAG used to sell them in small lots and several sizes, but they're gone and those I used almost all off them for vintage usgi mags I collected over the years. So rice in nylon.
