Gents,

Does Dewey or anyone else make a muzzle guide for the stock M1a Socom muzzle brake? I am not sure the one Dewey makes for the standard M1a is the corrct size.

I tried the "Search" but could not find anything.

I will also be getting the Otis kit, but wanted the one piece cleaning rod and muzzle guide as well.

Hey Scott,

I bought guides from Brownells which, of course, didn't fit. I called Dewey, and they custom fit my two guides free of charge. All I had to do was give them the measurements they needed of the outer diameter of the muzzle brake and pay the shipping.Great people at Dewey. GI6 Wavekatcher

I bought the Dewey guide and opened it up to .812" myself, being a tool maker has it's perks. GI5

Just got mine from the link listed by Old Salt. Works great. Finding a guide for the SOCOM II was next to impossible glad I got it!!

I have a Dewey Bore Guide that fits the smaller dia USGI F/S. Also have a SEI USCG muzzle brake on my Bush. Don't see why I can't open the front half of the B/G to fit the larger dia SEI M/B, and leave the back half at the std USGI dia. That way the one guide can be used for both models? dozier
