My cousin is a big AK enthusiast, he knows I like GI gas guns,
the DMR in particular,he sent me some links to different sites.
One of them is a pretty cool looking Dragunov site. I’ve always
liked the way the Dragunov looks and this site has some good
pics and information. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Those rifles have all probably been destroyed at this point.

From what I’ve been hearing, the Iraqi war machine built their own “reverse engineered” SVD and all those rifles are probably Iraqi built not Russian or Chinese. This is also why most of the pics we see of “SVD” rifles in Iraq don’t have scopes. All the Russian and Chinese rifles are supposed to come with scopes. It appears Iraq is not quite on par with Germany in optic production.
