Greetings and good morning from eastern WV! Been lurking for a while and finally had a question for which I couldn't find an answer, so I pulled the trigger on registering.
Already asked the question down in the ammo forum, because (I'll admit it) I didn't read the instructions asking for a post here. Shameful. So, here's some details:
Texas born and bred, but been several places across the globe in the USAF as a 1WX AFSC - did 6 years and while I enjoyed a lot of it (actually enjoyed the 7 months at KAF embedded with a 101st air assault BTN more than the whole rest of the enlistment), some aspects of it weren't for me; but I'm glad I had the chance to give my great country at least a few years of my life. UNITEDSTAT
I'm in IT now - software development. Being in front of a computer most of the day gives me lots of chances to keep current on many things and to research and drool over various projectile weapons. BGRIN1 Current in the armory is a Springfield 1911 in .45 (nuff said), a Sterling Arsenal PREPR in 5.56 (check them out if you're near Northern VA, great guys and great weapons), a Sig P938 in 9mm (my "welcome-to-WV" present to myself, now that I can carry again!), and a Standard model M1A with OD stock (my "your-gun's-accuracy-sucks-next-to-mine bragging rights weapon).
Anyway, glad to be here - hope to have some good times, good discussions, and good laughs. Thanks for reading and HAPPY FOURTH!
