Cyber Monday sale was just to good to pass up.
Got a Sig P225-A1 Classic Carry, Model# 225A-9-BSS-CC
Redeemed it from the state sponsored purgatory yesterday.

The P225-A1 is a 9mm single stack, 8+1, "compact" DA/SA semi-auto pistol.
Comes with G-10 grips by Spaulding Composite Inc. Other versions have Hogue G-10 or wood grips.
Has the SRT trigger. And when Sig says "Short Reset Trigger" they really mean it.
Sights are Sig's SigLite night sights.
Came with three 8 round magazines instead of the normal two the other models come with.
And let's not forget the most important features... The racing stripes and Sig logo on the slide! GI2
Barrel is 3.6" and she weighs in ad 29 oz with empty magazine installed.
This model is not on Sig's website. It also looks to be less expensive than the other models I have seen.
Although the P225-A has the same numerals as the old P6/P225 pistols. This new version seems to have more in common with the P239 pistols.
One detraction are the magazines. The old P6/P225 and P239 magazines will not fit this pistol.
While the magazine body and follower look to be the same as P239 magazines, the base plates are totally different.
Got a bunch of ammo to break her in this weekend.
Will let you know how she does. This is my first DA/SA pistol, so it should prove interesting.
Thanks,
Glenn
