What would make a case do this it is Brand new Seller &Bellot nato ammo case mouth is huge and the next case will not fire so I stopped shooting in 35 years of shooting I have never had this happen

Case neck separation--not unheard of. If you have a local gunsmith he likely has an extraction tool that will fix you right up.

I can see the chamber nothing there. I can't figure this out looks like you shot a 223 out of a 300 black out and you can see the case is much shorter than the others it is 1.993 others are 2.005

Seeing is one thing, but the conclusive thing is whether that next round fully chambered. And why the next round would not fire is important.

There is some small chance that the neck separated but still made its way out of the chamber. Swirling gases can do a lot of things.

I had this happen with my 308 M1 last year, make sure it’s clean, chamber clear and don’t worry too much about it. Probably a ammo issue.

Took the rifle apart and found metal stuck in the grease where the op rod runs the bolt same color as the rifle. Is the roller broke off this bolt

Roller is off the bolt in 3 pieces now did the ammo do it or did the rifle cause the ammo to look that way
