Just checked out R-Guns website. Receivers are now $825 or $800 for two or more for those interested.

i'll stick with LRB
We all have the right to our choice LRB's are great i have had them, but no wait a great receiver and excellent builds from my SEI receivers and the guys at SEI i made my choice might not be everyones but at $800 enough said, currently on my 4thDI5 and couldnt be happier
Have you owned a SEI receiver? Or is this a decision based on a thread on hand full that slipped thru production that nobody denies had issues but were all collected back, dont want to start this up again but its getting pretty old i should just discredit all 4 of my builds, thats the last i will touch on the issue anybody who makes it to the phx area who wants to shoot any of my rifles is more than welcome

Does anyone have photos of the current production SEI heel markings??

I saw a newer one recently, it was pretty nice.

I love my LRB and want a 2nd one, but I may give a SEI a try. They look much better now.

When they go back to stamping their heel markings like they did in the day, then I'll buy.

OK so you base your purchase on a heel stamp that had a slightly wider font? i borrowed the pic from sardo67 mine on the right to me they look like they are stamped with the same markings? I guess to each his own

I think they look nice, and I'm very picky. It's just preference I guess.

I've built rifles on the new SEI recs & on the older ones made in the 80s/90s era.. I just finished a match build a few weeks back using a NOS double lug SEI rec & it was a much better rec than current SEI offerings I've seen

From what I've seen LRB makes a much better rec than SEI does... I'm not bashing SEI recs but dimensionally speaking they are not in the same league as LRB

Nobody who has watched this forum for a while could ever accuse you of bashing SEI. You had the patience of Job during a recent situation and gave an honest assessment thereof.

I wont argue that he did have patients, i do think that after the flaws were cleared they are pretty dam good receivers, im base this on having had both LRB and SEI personally they both functioned just the same but thats IMOP, i dont discriminate i have had multiple builds by different manufactures, just my preference most likely because were i live and i support alot of local builders be AR15's or M14's,
