I must be missing something here guys, i picked up my 22" crazyhorse last week http://m14forum.com/m14/111894-my-new-sei-crazy-horse.html here is also a picture, and my CQBM 2 weeks ago http://m14forum.com/modern-m14/111635-new-sei-cqbm-ebr-mod-0-rifle.html here is a picture of that one both new production SEI receivers, and the last one is a first production SEI receiver #0005 1 of 10 with the tempe, az on the heel all 3 are perfectDoes anyone have photos of the current production SEI heel markings??
OK so you base your purchase on a heel stamp that had a slightly wider font? i borrowed the pic from sardo67 mine on the right to me they look like they are stamped with the same markings? I guess to each his ownWhen they go back to stamping their heel markings like they did in the day, then I'll buy.
i'll stick with LRB
Nobody who has watched this forum for a while could ever accuse you of bashing SEI. You had the patience of Job during a recent situation and gave an honest assessment thereof....I'm not bashing SEI recs but dimensionally speaking they are not in the same league as LRB
I wont argue that he did have patients, i do think that after the flaws were cleared they are pretty dam good receivers, im base this on having had both LRB and SEI personally they both functioned just the same but thats IMOP, i dont discriminate i have had multiple builds by different manufactures, just my preference most likely because were i live and i support alot of local builders be AR15's or M14's,Nobody who has watched this forum for a while could ever accuse you of bashing SEI.
