Second interview with Mike Sadlak

I just received another phone call from Mike Sadlak. \:D/ Here's the latest scoop:

1) Going forward, they will machine a five degree relief into the bottom of the scope mount rail to minimize spent case jamming due to worn ejectors

2) Their aluminum M14 scope mounts will have a hard coat anodizing and are in testing now.

3) They won't be making gas cylinders but they will soon be testing uniformly applied (0.0001 " thick) dense chrome plated gas cylinders. The purpose of chrome plating the gas cylinder is to increase service life.

4) At the customer's request, they can machine the M14 scope mount horizontal key 0.005 " thinner. This will help fitting the mount with non-USGI spec receivers and / or allow adjusting the mount for elevation.

5) The titanium nitride coating reduces the amount of residue on the piston. More information on the benefits of titanium nitride coating specific to the M14 gas piston is in the works.

6) I should have my TUNGSTEN coated TITANIUM M14 Scope Mount from Sadlak Industries, LLC on Monday the 29th. \:D/ 8)
