I have a Sadlak mount on mine, with a 43mm objective lens on scope with medium rings. I can use with iron sights easily. I can go up 36 clicks from 100 yard zero.

Scope height

I have a Squad Scout and am considering putting a scope on with a Sadlak mount. I don't anticipate more than a 40mm objective and have a couple questions:

1) Will I need a cheek riser?
2) Can I use my irons?
3) If yes to #2, how much elevation can I still get on my irons?

To use your iron sights with the scope installed, you will need a cheek riser.

Typical elevation with this setup is 300 - 400 yds (usually not more than 400)
