I’ve got a Leupold 3.5-10x40 LR/T M1 in Smith Enterprise rings
and base and really like the set up. You do need something to
raise your cheek rest though.

The smith and sadlak mounts are high ones and need some kind of rest. My preferance is for the ARMS mount but with recent problems mating them to SA receivers it may not be the best for you. It's not the mounts fault BTW.

The 3.5X10 Leupold mark 4 is a very popular scope that should give a lifetime of use. There are others that are more specialized but this one is the perfect general purpose rig.

Whatever you decide on just make sure you semi permanently attach the mount to the receiver with locktight and only remove the scope if you want to shoot with the sights. It will be a lot more secure this way and be less prone to ever shooting loose.
