M1A in a Troy MCS with Bushnell 30mm 5-15X scope. Want to set up for 600 meters+. Looking at one-piece QD mounts. Am I better off to buy one Like a Larue SPR with built-in down angle or just a flat mount like GG&G? Thanks for your experienced guidance.

I'll speculate that if you want to go out to 1000 meters, you'll probably want a 20MOA base since that Bushnell only has 50 MOA of vertical adjustment (on paper, it may be less in practice).

That would be 50 moa total adjustment. Assuming the scope is still optically centered after mounting and sighting in, that would only give you 25 moa of POI adjustment up.

Scope Mount Help

Thanks gentlemen! LaRue LT158 has 10 MOA built in. Do you know of others? Appreciate the help.
