The Bassett mount is the best that can be had for any money and it's not close to being the highest priced. He makes a standard and low standard both of which can be had with 20 moa of cant and he makes a picatinny and low picatinny. Take your pick. I've used all of them at one time or other as I helped him do some of the R&D on the original picatinny. I personally use the low standard with 20 MOA of cant with a Leupold Mark 4 M1 and Leupold Mark 4 alloy rings and have never had any problems at all. However the low standard with cant doesn't work with a Leupold that has a lighted option as the eyepiece diameter is larger than the regular. As it was the mount is so low that I had to removed my NM hooded aperture in favor of an old NM non hooded aperture for clearance.
