I'm attempting to find a way to utilize my irons with scope installed. Normally I'd say not a difficult feat though in my case I've run into a brick wall. I have an SAI loaded, came with the full length VLTOR rails and as such normal mounts attaching to the side and stripper clip guide wont work as those locations are taken. The closest I've come to what I think I need is an A.R.M.S. #5. Two problems there. 1) Total height .750" 2) From the positioning of the "see through" it does not appear to be low enough for my sight picture. Here are a few pics showing what I have.

I use a Bassett Standard Picatinney mount that allows for using the irons with a scope mounted.

The Bassett web site explains the various types.

You'll need an adjustable check riser so that it can be raised for scope use and lowered for irons use.

Thanks wiz1997, appreciate that. I have the VLTOR ModStock which allows for raising an lowering comb height, so far so good.
