I don't know how many members may have Springfield Armory Mil-Spec 1911s that may want to add Tritium night sights, but don't want to narrow a 1/8" tenon to fit.
Found that Fusion Firearms has both Trijicon lamped, and traditional White Dot replacement front sights available. www.fusionfirearms.com
I tried one of their "sets", and the rear sight was too loose in the dovetail, even though it had a set screw to tighten it up. The front sight was a good tight fit prior to upsetting the tenon. I paired it with a Meprolight rear, that the front didn't survive installation, with my Trijicon tool.
