So Comrade Presidente plans to announce his pick to lead ATF - David Chipman — a retired ATF agent who has since served five years as senior policy adviser at the Giffords organization and before that worked for Mike Bloomberg and Everytown for Gun Safety.

I'm thinking "ghost guns" but fear it may be far more reaching.

Thats just it , POTUS cant make laws , only Congress/Senate can .
No eo just have the force of law and can't be overturned by the legislature. Theoretically they would need to be within the powers of the executive branch according to the constitution. But.., as I think most of us are aware, our government really doesn't follow our founding document.

Trump tried to undo some of Obama's EOs and the courts stopped him, so it is not as simple as you say. Also, no guarantee the next president (republican or democrat) will want to undo any gun related EO.
Didnt say it was easy or that treatment would be fair, just saying what it is. There are no guarantees in life, none, certainly not in politics.

I dont count on it, but fact remains, they are undone almost as easily as done. All it takes is the next president, or a court if unconstitutional. Biden just undid a bunch of Trump EO's.
That used to be the case. A lot of things used to be the case. Our world has changed a lot. It is not the world it was. Socialist Democrat and RINOs have control of all branches of government and they control voting. We no longer have the America that I grew up with.

I busted my butt to buy my second and third M1A over the last few months. I have been expecting this since November. Nothing good is going to happen. No reason for bad to not happen.

The enemy is in the gates.

You're naive or purposefully haven't been paying attention.
Neither actually, just stating the facts. Do things get abused? Of course, but that doesnt alter the facts. I pay a great deal of attention to these things and have for 50 years. I see no point in losing our minds over something that hasnt happened yet.
Poking holes in the air with our fingers never accomplishes a thing.

I have no problem with presidents writing EO's, they can be quite useful. Sometimes the courts decide that some are not constitutional and strike them down, OK, thats the courts job. All presidents do it, its just tough when the sitting president is a leftard and hates guns.
The Biden camp knows he can only get away with so much that way though, and thats why he is pushing Congress.
I think you're correct. Right now the party line is the so-called infrastructure bill, which seeks to "redefine" infrastructure. Whatever that means. Two issues I perceive he will be reluctant to pursue in earnest yet are guns and immigration, b/c both are highly sensitive to lots of people.

The biggest mistake we, meaning pro-gun voters/citizens, can make is going off half-cocked, i.e., taking the bait and fighting the diversion. The "Biden camp" is sharp. The guy is like Lyndon Johnson in the sense that he's been in DC forever, knows how it works, knows how to dicker, knows how to get stuff done. Good for him. Bad for us.

Do not get me wrong. I think he is pond scum but he is highly effective, well-managed pond scum.

If he is not taking any action on guns today as you claim, what is the diversion you speak of that is fooling us dopes? This post is odd. You go off half-cocked on several topics in my opinion, but seem to say we pro 2a folks are?

Let’s check in at the end of the day to see if any EOs are issued. I have a hard time believing nothing is coming. My gut says the leaks yesterday to the MSM were not a diversion...

Biden and Dems are overjoyed they have precedence of a POTUS using executive overreach to tell the ATF to change definitions and backdoor legislation in.
