SA Inc. flash suppresors

anyone know how long SA Inc has been installin commercial flash suppressors on the standard M1A's?.....I don't have calipers but compared to new GI flash suppressor,they look reamed to NM spec ,are they .406 ?.....anyone?

IIRC, the specification for NM flash suppressor diameter is 0.409 " at the front end of the suppressor. Springfield Armory, Inc. has been using commercial reproduction parts since at least 1978. So, reproduction flash suppressors have most likely been around twenty years or so.
