You would get alo9t more responses in the Ammo section, try 42.0 imr4895witha 168 SMK in LC brass.

I am looking for feedback from anyone who is reloading any type of 168gr projectile in their M1A ONLY.

-What 168 are you shooting
-What kind of brass are you using
-What powder and what charge are you using
-What is your FPS
-What length barrel

I'm trying to figure out Lake City vs. commercial brass and if 1 or 2 grains will make a difference in the velocity and/or pressure.

Again anyone who is reloading a 168 I would really like to know what your load data. Thanks.

Sierra 168, H4895 @ 41.5 gn, CCI #41, LC cases, 22 inch barrel. I have no chrono, this is a long standing load that most folks seem to know about.

I have been using that same charge with 175s and it shoots very very well.
