I should have been paying better attention. I normally load my .308 with 150gr FMJ and Alliant Reloader 15. Thought I grabbed 4 lbs of RE15, but wasn’t paying attention and after I got home, saw it was Reloader 15.5. Anybody load with this stuff? Heard it’s like Varget. I just may be hung with alot of powder I can’t use. Dealer says no returns on powder… understandable. Advice appreciated.

15.5?? Never heard of it! Regular 15 is like Varget. WITW?

Just went and looked it up, says between 15 and 16, well duh! LOL. I would just treat it like 15 and go load it and you may find it has a bit more range to load more of it. Sure wouldnt get rid of it.
Seems like a cure to a nonexistent problem.

Yea, kinda thinking of doing that. Called Alliant, they were no help at all. Maybe I’ll load it like a grain or so low and then come up. I’ve loaded Varget before with good results.

Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide

Has a recipe for a 175gn bullet may as well crack a bottle open a try working up a load.
Maybe someone with quickload can work some numbers to make sure pressures are ok.

Being its a tad slower than 15 it should be safe to use your regular load or even up it a tad.
