I ordered this stock from Fred's earlier this year.
I just can't warm up to fiberglass, definitely prefer wood with my steel!
It is exactly as I received it from him. There are no major issues, cracks, flaws or rust.

It has a very tight lockup (too tight in my opinion) with my rifle, but that could be adjusted.
I am pretty sure that this extra tight lockup mentioned above is specific to my rifle (I only have one to check this stock with).
The distance from top of stock (under receiver heel) to the bedding surfaces for the rear of the trigger housing should be from 1.700" to 1.725".
This stock falls right between the minimum and maximum at 1.7005", so this stock should fit most rifles without any issues.
More info about this measurement: http://m14forum.com/gus-fisher/140575-m14-function-safety-test.html

The buttplate is stamped "KMT" under the flapper.
I'm also including an "excellent" solid handguard (with clip) and a "fair" slotted handguard (no clip).
The slotted handguard really needs serious help, but could be restored.

Was $150.00, Now $120.00 Shipped USPS Priority

*Here is the link to and the description from Fred's website.

Rare Early Smooth-Sided - the very first synthetic, a true piece of M14 history.
NO checkering, glossy finish, slightly thicker through the pistol grip - but well-used.
So RARE you have probably never seen one. With buttplate, naturally!
While this stock is NOT as-new, or even excellent, because of its rarity, it is a very desirable and collectible stock.
I have never seen one that has not seen considerable use. Yet we send you the pick of the lot.
Some of these will approach VG-. Even the worse will grade Good-.
