2nd time out with my Socom II. Range conditions-32 degrees, no wind. Breakfast......Coffee and bagel with cream cheese.

I shot Prvi Part .308 winchester and DAG. 200 rounds...no malfunctions. I did notice the Prvi has some large fireballs, even some sparks/ fireballs coming out of the receiver from around the bolt???

I had mounted a new Leupold scout scope, works great with quick release low rings. What a fun rifle to shoot! I am only able to get 3 inch groups with the scope. Not bad for a rookie, I think? It seems like the rifle was getting more accurate after about 100 rounds...maybe settling into the stock?

It does take forever to clean the rifle. I can't seem to get the patches to come out clean, I am letting the solvent sit in the barrell overnight, and will resume the cleaning tomorrow.

Here's a picture of a 5 shot [email protected] yards

I let it work for half an hour then patch dry. It will get better when the barrel breaks in. But till it does it'll take some time. It'll also shoot better.
