Hi,

I try to the follow the supplement manual to set the dog point screw with extra 1/2 turn after it touches the clip guide and begin the rise. But when I mount my scope base on that setting I will bottom out my scope on elevation and I end up have to give an extra 1 complete turn on the dog point screw to rise the rear on the dcsb to gain my elevation adjustment back "around 13 clicks".

I am wonder if this will hurt anything or put too much stress on the mount or rail. My scope is a Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 3-9x40mm.

Thanks,

After swapping with a leupold quick release ring, I just need a extra 1/4 turn to get that 20 MOA I need for the elevation adjustment.
