Just got my backorder in too. I used a pin punch that was bent slightly to one side and a flat sanded so it would not ding the receiver. You want to punch to the rear. Clean and grease the spring while it's out. On re-assembly, grease the pin pretty good and it should tap in with no sweat. I have a chunk of brass to hammer tap with so it don't booger the end of the new pin. Hope that helps.
