Found some local guy with Port & Aussie for $100 a 200 round sealed Battle pack. Is it worth it? I shot the port and it very accurate but never used the Aussie.

Research is still the best game in town anymore.

Interesting, Aussie never produced a battlepack, only cans, boxes and bandoleers!

50 cents is high for military surplus ammunition still right now.

Port manufactured in 1982 is something that you should just turn around and walk away from. Not worth the time to clean each round, a lot of issues with it, do a search here and you will see.DI5

Aussie is good military surplus ammunition to have on board any time.

+1 on the above comments. I've shot the Aussie, and have been happy with it, plus some of the ADI is boxer primed and reloadable. Price still seems a bit too high, though.

Aussie 7.62 is about the best surplus I've encountered during the last 10 years....Sierra MK will beat it, but not by much. All mine is from 1983, so can't say about other years. I'd gladly load up the credit card if I could find more.
