I was able to trade ona polytech m14/s. So it will be my second build and plan on doing a DMR. I will post pics of it in few days. It does not have usgi FH on it and is a side marked one and is 5 digit serial number. Has wood stock not the black wood stock, its reddish brown. So a bayonet lugged FH can be put on it right? Since i want to put a mcmillian m2a(dmr) stock on it i can have it with the lugged flash hider right or do i need to get a non lugged FH for it? I understand the triggers are good,so i can NM it or do i need to get SA inc or usgi trigger(i am wanting a usgi one)? The polytech trigger does need tuned for sure. The gasblock are they good to unitize? I will have to get someone to check bolt out to see if it needs replaced. Its a lighter park on it then my SA has,not dark parked. I may park it darker. Sorry for so many questions, just did not want to do several post.Thanks.

Sounds like this may very well be a "post" ban Poly ...

If it is you cannot put a bayo lug FH on it ...

Well ....

You can but you'd be in a world of you know what if ya was ever caught with it by enforcement that would know the difference ...

The "stock" itself has nothing to do with whether or not a weapon is post or pre ban ...

No one seems to know why the Park is lighter. It seems to hold up as well. Color match is going to be hard if you replace the op rod or barrel or bolt. Have the headspace checked, and the bolt face and lugs looked at. If she's really long in the headspace department (make sure you check chamber for Nato dimentions), then your going to need to do something. The trigger can be fixed or replaced, your choice. Gas blocks are good and can be unitized. General consensus is the flash hider can be there, except in Kali, but shave the bayo lug so it won't work, but saves the profile. Good Luck!
