This is my L.R.B. M-14 that was assembled by Warbird with all USGI parts. I am very happy with how it turned out. Warbird did an excellent job of assembling it. I have put 200 rounds through it to test it out but I have yet to really test its accuracy. This is my first attempt at posting pictures so hopefully they will come through and be the correct size.

Oh yeah, I remember that really nice walnut M14 stock.

I had a hard time sending it back. The best looking M14 walnut stock I've seen to date. 8)

Pics came out real good too.

Very Nice!
Thanks for the compliment on the stock. It came from Fred’s as an excellent grade for $45. I got very lucky; it looks brand new. It took 2 ½ months for it to come, but it was well worth the wait.
Aloha MGood!

Awesome looking rifle!!! I like the close up of the "business" end of the rifle!

Looks like our Warbird did another fantastic job on it too!

Congrats MGood!!!, to you and Warbird!

Aloha,

Tom O.
Very nice lookin' rifle. Congrats! :D :D :D

Warbird, how easy was it to put together this rifle? Any major fitting issues? How do you think LRB compares to other brands of receivers?

TEA,

The Armscorp receivers are still pretty good on fit, of most parts.
I check everything from bolt stop roll pin hole, bolt stop cut out and bridge to bolt lock up and spring guide recess. Usually, omly 1 or 2 minor things need to be clened up because of burrs. You just need to know what to look for, and know how the receiver should be, to work like it should.

I have a couple of LRB receivers here now. I looked them over real good and it seems that they have corrected the small problems they had. Especially the bolt stop cut out and bridge. Bolt lock up area on the receiver looks better as well. I think they'll be exactly as they should be real soon. It only takes time. I talked to Ron Smith last Friday about a couple of things, and it seems that LRB listened to him about what needed to be done to correct the problems. I'll be ready to buy a LRB receiver in 6 months.

Sweet looking rifle there, maybe in mid Sept. you can put a full bayo lug on her. Thanks for the report on the receiver Warbird. I had a couple I ended up returning in the beginning because of some of those issues you mention, and some others. Lou was still great to deal with and because of that, and since the receivers seem to be improving as time goes on, I will definatly consider another in a year or so. :D I was hoping that it would turn out like this.
As Warbird alluded to my L.R.B. receiver had some minor issues with the bolt stop cut out. This caused the bolt not to lock back after the last round was fired. I sent it back to L.R.B. and they corrected the problem. I was disappointed that the receiver was sent to me with a problem. However, I refrained from publicly complaining about it because I wanted to give L.R.B. the opportunity to correct the mistake. L.R.B. took the receiver back, corrected the problem, and returned the rifle to me in a reasonable amount of time. I think it took about two weeks from the day I shipped it to the day that it returned. I was very satisfied with their customer service. I was also very happy that I had Warbird assemble the rifle for me. If I had not had him do the work for me, I would not have been able to pinpoint the problem with the receiver. Overall I am very happy with my M-14.
Good looking rifle MGOOD, I know your proud of it, good luck. :D

This same problem occured on one of my three LRBs however Bill at Smith Enterprises corrected it for me during the builds. Even with the minor issues they may have had, these LRBs are rock solid and I am very satisfied.
