Do you mean a leather riser? There is no cheekpiece designed for the M14, only the M1 Garand (due to the offset scope mount).

Pretty cheap is the first thought, . . . but with a little artful diagnostics, . . . I think you could probably draw a pretty good one from this.

I personally prefer one that sits up on top of the stock.

Read the reviews on the one from Midway.

Many are not impressed with the quality of the leather.

Choose a good quality leather when tooling your own leather projects.

Those from Midway are for the M1 rifle, they are offset to the left side to accommodate the offset scope mount that was designed for the M1 Garand.

You want to raise your eye to the level of your scope, not offset it to one side.

What I would like is the design in inches ,so I could cut it out and trace it on my leather.
I work with leather as a hobby, I have the eyelets but lost my pattern when my "wife " helped me clean up one Day.

Contact member Chief on one, he picked up one that looked nice for his M14E2 stock. Maybe he'd be willing to get measurements off it for you.

I hope there is someone who could trace their cheekpad and send me a scan of it.
I also need a scan of the pad it's self as to cut it out of felt and make the mold to put the pad in. Hope this makes sense.

Why not use the picture that Turner has (Jim W posted it), and use that enlarged to the right size for the pattern? Even the molds would work.
