HR-N was a subcontractor for Harrington & Richardson. IIRC, there's been some discussion about MXR. The conclusion was that no one has been able to identify that contractor 100 %. If I get this right, the MXR safeties were possibly made by Winchester for the M1 Garands. If I have that wrong PLEASE correct me.

different my HRA M1 has an MXR safety. bill ricca stated that many of the winnie coming back from israel had MXR safeties and he also examined a amnesty registered winchester M14 that had an MXR safety.

so it seems they were made in the late 50s early 60s possibly for M14 produciton but since they fit the garand they can be found there too.

how much= too much LMAOOOO

looks like the SA with winchester barrel is going to be mostly win on a SA recvr.
