i will be buying an m1a, and it has a wooden stock, the M21, I really do not want to muss it up by painting it, it seems like an expensive stock, is there another alternative, i really like glass stocks, but this one comes in wood, should i paint it or now, i like cammo

Keep the wood and add a synthetic USGI WhamoCamo stock in the pattern of your choice.

SixT of WhamoCamo is one of the best when it comes to puting camo paint on a M14 stock. He is also stright up honest and a good man to do business with.

My rifles are in WhamoCmo stocks.

Aloha AvengeUSA:

Of course, you know I agree with the guys and love WhamoCamo custom painted stocks... but in your case the M21 is meant to be in a Match grade stock and you might want to consider a McMillan painted in your favorite camo by McMillan or by our very own SixTGunr!!!

A McMillan will need to be bedded. If you that is getting a bit too high, then you might want to consider a "Big Red" syle match stock, bedded, and have that painted with your favorite Camo... it will save you a few bucks as McMillan's are quite expensive.

Just my $.02...

i had thought of painting the stock that came with the rifle, since it is not for investment purposes, but a shooter, if i changed the stock it would be for a mcmillin
