I received this pistol from a good friend as a gift 3 years ago.

I have put 100's of rounds of all types, blazer aluminum, wolf, american eagle,monarch....etc you name it.

Not once has this pistol ever malfunctioned and it runs dirty as hell.

The trigger is also wonderful

Plenty of firepower (14+1 .45acp) aluminum frame, what more could you ask for?

Next will be a glock 17.

My first pistol was a IWI Desert Eagle .50 I didn't like it, traded for a rifle and a XD 9. Sold the XD 9 eventually. I'll try a Glock next. Will i like it as much as i like my Para?

No smipley no, the para you have has great ergonamics. From my experience with glocks its like using a hand held brick. Sorry if this is to objective but i dont like glocks. The only thing that matters is that you are happy with the purchase. Even though i dont like glocks doesn't meen i dont respect them, cause i have only herd good things on there reliability but comfort no. Best thing to do is go to a store and handel a few glocks and see if you like it.
Good Shooting.

It's good to hear a report of a new Para doing well. I love my Canadian Paras.
