O on the m14 receivers meant that it was serviced and zeroed by armourer's. That's what I was told by the Israeli's when they sold the guns to Canadian dealers.

I was under the impression that it meant it was Overhauled at some point, zeroing the rifle is individual to the shooter, and if it were that it'd been zeroed they'd be thousands of O's all over it, hell my M1A would have at least 5, new rear sights, new front sight, broken front sight new front sight, re-barrel, scope. I mean come on that guy was pulling your chain, its gotta be for an overhaul.
