I have one and it is a nice gun all the way around.
Very solid and well made out of excellent materials.
The bluing is very nice and it shoots like a dream.
My question is How can I date the gun? Searched online and not one good source on serial numbers.I know the Clinton ban was 98 and all imports were cut off from China.
Mine has an extremely low serial number as well.
If anyone can shed some light on these or has a link to a serial number data base I would appreciate it.

From what I have read somewhere, they are next to impossible to date. I have one as well and will have my friend work on it some time. 5100 ordnance steel that the Chinese liked to use.

From what I can figure out 5000 and 6000 were 88-89.
Lots of posts I have read people had some in the 4000 range
You think there would be a data base somewhere online.
I'm not calling China to find out LOL.
