I have been tinkering around with getting all NM parts for one of my SA Loaded M1A's. Recently, I ordered a NM Spring Guide from Fulton Armory and when I received it, I noticed that it looked like the Brookfield spring guide that I think I saw posted before.

Is there any significant difference between the two? Should this guide be greased as well?

Oxmix:

I don't see any harm in greasing the guide either. I would think that any metal to metal contact, especially in this case, should be lubricated. I thought that it looked similar to the Brookfield but I wasn't sure... 8O

As for combat, I really do not know which would be best and how it would affect combat performance... Maybe Hawk would know...

I am slowly acquiring NM parts for my Loaded... I think this is about it... Cool. Heck, I forgot about the NM rear sight hooded aperture, oh well...
