I put a Monarch X 2.5x10 on mine and haven't had a problem with it and I've put about 500rds through it so far. It's nice quality plus the glass is really good on the scope. The only thing I don't like is the MOA/MIL and the 1/4 turns. Plus it's a RFP but I don't really need a FFP scope. DI5
Thanks for your reply Sunny, but I am looking for feedback on the Nikon VSD Red Dot Sight. This is not a scope, it has no magnification. The reticle dot can be adjusted from 1MOA to 4,6, or 10 MOA.
No, but I'm a big fan of Nikons, and I'm looking for a red dot, so I've looked at the VSD.
My impression: it probably works and works well (it's a Nikon!), but the weak point is the battery life.
Nikon doesn't state its battery life (!), but I've read that it's about 300 hours, which is woefully inadequate compared to Aimpoints that can run for years on a battery.
