There aren't very many stock makers today, let alone ones doing the T44 pattern.

I couldn't help notice the sign in the last photo...

Do you fit and finish your stocks naked? Not judgement from me -just curious. ;)
Like my good friend Ron used to say, RIP

My guess is his stellar groups are derived from getting down and dirty with the stocks. I mean I get it. There is no better way to build a rifle than to strip her down, as well as yourself, and smooth/oil her up.

What oil do you recommend?
I use a mixture of 1 to 1 either turpentine or pure odorless paint thinner and boiled linseed oil and apply until it ceases to soak in, maybe 3 good coats then a couple of straight blo rubbed in and a final application of Wood's Bowling Alley Wax.
