New to forum

I am new to the forum, but have shot the M1A for 15 years. I am sorry to say that it spend about 2 years under my bed. This was my first "big bore " rifle. I shot .22 and 12 gauge shotguns. So I was nervous about all things about the M1A. Also I am left handed. Finally took my girl out to the range and started to learn her and her habits. I was very surprised and happy that she sends the empty cartridge forward. Love to shoot but respect the rifle and only shot about 250 rounds per year. That being said, shoot my other weapons, often and many rounds.
