I love the modstock. I would drop the flashlight and put it on a shotgun. A good red dot or low power scope would be a nice add on.

I’m going to disagree, I think the light is a solid addition.

Not quite the final setup, but very close to mine:

I found this quite handy and the light was a must have for low light.

These are a sweet system - a "little pricier" than the VLTor - but very popular amongst it's owners.

But on CLOSER INSPECTION - SmurfSlayer's is a "mod stock" (aka - FrankenStock). Very nice implementation. FAB defense shotgun buttstock - grafted onto to an M14 (fiberglass?) fore stock.

Thinking this is going to be the stock I use for my next build (after I finish the two I'm in the middle of now)...

I made one of the modstocks for my dads m1a. Great stock with the same mako group he has but mine was the folder. Comes in the same weight as a usgi with the metal butt end.

Rick is correct, my stock came out of the WECGS - Wile E. Coyote Gunstock shop, pre-finished in barrio tiger stripe.
