I have a question for you Lou that I hope you can help me with. Can I safely shoot a 175 grain full metal jacket round in 308 win in my SA M1A without any extra stress or wear on the rifle? It has a medium weight trw match barrel.

Yes you can. Bullet weight is not a safety issue...powder charge is. LOU
