First off I would like to thank all of you for your knowledge and willingness to teach and help others. A little about me I live in Missouri been here all of my life. I first got in to firearms with my great great uncle who served in WWII and also was there for the bikini atoll testing (more on that later and maybe a little trip to the past with a photo of a letter he sent to his mom about the feel of an atom bomb). He had a all winchester m1 carbine that he had since service, he taught me how to fire it and to take care of it and ever since I have had a fondness and respect for the art of firearms. 20 years later I finally purchased my own art my beloved M1A and I hope we have many happy years together. I hope to be part of this growing family and continue growing my knowledge gathered for all of you. I would like to thank each and every service men for there service and sacrifice no matter how small, it means the world to us without all of you brave men and women we would not be here today.

What part of Missouri? I was raised just outside of KC and lived there until my wife drug me into the frozen north land of SD. You will love the M1A just as you enjoyed the M1 Carbine and if you follow the advice in Tony's videos about care and feeding, she'l last a lifetime-you'll be able to pass her on to your kids(maybe-depends on what happens in DC).
