Just officially introducing my self. Long time lurker on the site and have had a M1 Garand for some time but finally picked up a Socom16. I’ve been into shooting for some time and just loved the way the socom looked and was interested in it’s capabilities as a cqr.
Hope to continue to learn a ton about the rifle and future purchases (I know it’s contagious).

Did some minor mods to the socom:

• sadlak mount and spring guide
• Aimpoint 9000sc red dot

Welcome . Love the camo stock. You should be able to handle anything that comes up as well as deer and hog hunting.
