I notice that the Leupold custom shop has a new variable scout scope available. Anyone try this setup yet? The eye relief seems to be about perfect for the M1A Scout. It's a little big but should be fine.

I think that would be cool if it had mil dots or range finder reticle together with the power adjustment. I had a Leupold FX2 scout scope on my SOCOM16 and loved it, but trying to shoot longer distances past 300 yards with it was a challenge.
I got the Leatherwood CMR...It's not as slim looking, but it has what I need. Wish it could have the same kind of eye relief when it's powered out to 4x... and wish it was made in the USA...
