New Guy Reporting In!
Well, I am getting the M-1A fever again.
I used to have a very nice Springfield Armory M-1A back in the 80's.
I sold it when I needed cash, and have been kicking myself ever since.
So, when money allows I want to buy or build another one.
I am a former Coast Guard E-6 Gunner Mate.
I was in from 76 to 86.
I live in Northern New Hampshire......above The Notch as they say up here!
I have built a couple AR's and a Precision rifle using a Savage 110 action I had.
Thats why I say "buy or build", it would be a lot of fun to build an M-1A.
Like most people I got work everyday and make the most out of life.
I look forward to learning from and hopefully contribute some knowledge to the site.

Welcome to the forum from NorCal. You will find years of info here to help with the selections on what you want to plan for your build. Be careful, you will find that this can become addictive and the first build may not be the last. Have fun and keep us posted on your direction and progress.
I lost all my firearms in the Rio Grande when the barge hit a sandbar and sank.

Welcome aboard the M14 forum from a former blue water Navy, RM-2 Sailor who served on an ammo ship (AE-5) in the Nam for three tours between 62-66.
