First let me say I've been reading and learning as much as possible here on the sight, and thanks to all who contribute so much info here. I have learned a lot!
More to the point tho, I acquired a rifle last week built on a Armscorp NM receiver, TRW op-rod and bolt. The rest of the parts need identification yet. I am having trouble removing the op-rod from the receiver. Unlike my Polytech that almost falls out of the receiver by shaking it, this one refuses to unlock. Any suggestions? I don't want to force anything. I took some pictures of the parts, hoping someone could shed any info they had on the meaning of some of the numbers. I think the barrel is a new production barrel, which is odd because I was told this gun was built in the 80's.
Anyhow, here are some of the pics. I'm holding off shooting until I know a little more about the rifle. I'm guessing good quality .308 ammunition is the only way to go here, and not some surplus NATO stuff?
Thanks in advance for any info you can offer GI2
