Welcome from SD. It is good that you recognize your problem however this forum is not like AA, we don't cure the M14/M1A addiction. Once bitten, you are hooked for life. First, it is just one, then two and sometimes it spills over into M1's. There some on here who have 10-15 or more. Enjoy your new toy and let us know how she shoots.

The last time i shot an M1A/M14 was 1985 or 86, went to the range to day, snow, and a nice warm 33 degs outside

... i really love this weapon lol
Didn't shoot too bad, need alot more practice though..
