BBT brought my new .308 Garand today. I had the barreled action done a few years back, then it went on the back burner and never got finished. So I sent it off to Clayton Smith and had him complete it. It's built on a brand new Breda receiver, with a brand new Wilson arms barrel. The rest of the parts came from a Danish parts kit. Most of the parts are Beretta other than the op-rod and trigger group which are SA.
Won't be able to get it out to the range until next week.

Yes, it was reparked. The receiver, as I mentioned, was new and was a beautiful green color. But most of the parts were pretty worn and I wanted it to be uniform.
I forgot to mention that the stock is a Wenig's. I like it much better than the Boyd's that I had originally bought for this rifle. The profile is much more like a GI stock.
