Need Navy Vet familiar with older USN marked

Generators. Just came into possession of what my Son says is a Leland Alternator PE175 generator. Not finding any info on google (yet). Any of our USN Vets familiar with this type of equipment?
Soon as it stops raining I'll see if there is a data plate and provide that info. TIA.
