Yeah, I get some interest in my stock. I bought it on eBay quite a few years back with unknown history other than it was on some rear-lugged rifle. Just needs one of those shooting team stickers.

Yeah, since I shoot at MCB Camp Pendleton and occasionally 29 Palms, I never chased down stickers. That and my exceedingly average scores would cement my label as a poser.

I don't think there's anything wrong with leaving the decal on the stock and using it in competitions, even if on Marine bases. But slapping one on my rifle, especially since I shoot with former team members on their base just didn't seem right to me. If the stock has provenance, then it's ok I think.
