Alright, heres the skinny on this rifle. All the serial numbers match, to include the stock. It is a 1917 Lithgow Lee-Enfield, from what i have found out during research, this has never been refurnished at all.

The serial number is a 5 diget with 51180, this number is also stamped on the stock.

There is another below it, 82,969.

The barrel is marked under the rear sight with "HV" (high velocity?) and "SC" (small cone?)

i has 3MD (3rd military district) stamped on both the receiver and the stock.

Thoughts? Comments? im curious to know exactly what i have here. No it does not have the volley sights or the single shot cut-off.

;) Well done and good luck for you.

Try shooting without the flash and with natural light. It will get rid of the glare.

Nice rifle. Try Graf's for some PRIVI 303.

i used a flashlight so the markings would be visable. You wouldnt believe how good a shape this thing is in, and the bore is amazing looking. cant wait to see how it will shoot.
