I was wondering about the use of regular M14 muzzle breaks on a TROY MCS or similar inline stock. Regular M14 Muzzle Breaks are intended for use on regular M14 "hunting rifle" style stocks and are designed to counter muzzle rise. If you had a M14 in a Troy MCS style stock would a regular muzzle break actually push the muzzle down once the M14 was fired? Would a custom muzzle break need to to be made?

I have an M1A in the Troy MCS and I have fired it with the stock muzzle break and the Troy medieval. The stock muzzle break didn't seem to reduce the perceived recoil as much as the Troy muzzle break. As for the stock muzzle break pushing the weapon down it was unnoticeable to me.
