I have a VLTOR cluster rail on my Socom. I just nailed a Vortex Strike Eagle on Black Friday and will be looking to mount it very soon.

The scope is a 1.5 - 6 x 25 w/ 30mm tube.

Who here has done something similar? What size rings are needed?

30mm high rings, with medium rings the scope will be resting on the rail.

Scope ring heights have no universal standard. One manufacture ring height can be more or less in height to another one's height in the same height designation example medium heights, etc. Best to check the the manufactures' ring height specs and make sure they're measured from the same points.

Yep. That I understand. That's why I posted the question before I ordered the wrong rings. There's literally no where around here that sells anything other than Walmart.

Hopefully someone has traveled the same road.
